All are welcome to join the Wildwood Ride at 7:45 am Saturday, Oct. 24, one day after the film debut. The event is being organized by group of Bike Bus leads, and Wildwood and Laika fans in North Portland and beyond.

Riders will travel along neighborhood Bike Bus routes and gather at the St. Johns Library crow, 7510 N Charleston. Riders will cross the iconic St. Johns Bridge together and back. It’s a crossing that can feel as impassable for families as the Wilderness in the film Wildwood.

“Together, we’ll transform that barrier into a celebration of community, imagination, and the freedom to walk, bike, and roll when traffic is especially light,” say organizers.

“Whether you’d like to help lead, cork or ride, welcome participants, tell the story, host a community booth, sponsor the event, or help shape its future, we’d love to have you join us.”

Organizers are seeking volunteers, partners, sponsors and champions. If you are interested contact sustainabilityatmyschool@gmail.com.
