The St. Johns Boosters and local businesses invite you to a series of celebrations to revel in the most festive of seasons! The Light Up St. Johns Ugly Sweater Events include a Holiday Tree Lighting, Shopping Event, Bar Crawl, Raffle & More!
Events start on November 6, 2023 and go until January 1, 2024. All are free and open to all ages except the Ugly Sweater Bar Crawl on December 9 open to adults only. See stjohnsboosters.org for more.

11/6 – 1/1 | St. Johns Ugly Sweater Holiday Window Displays | Stroll the St. Johns Business District to see the Ugly Sweater themed holiday window decorations from local artists.
11/17 – 12/17 | Ugly Sweater Cut Outs Photo Contest | Visit St. Johns businesses and take a photo with one of the life-sized ugly sweater cutouts to enter to win one of our weekly prizes – post to Instagram with #uglysweaterstjohns for your chance to win!
11/17 – 12/17 | Mini Ugly Sweater Scavenger Hunt | While you’re in the district, keep an eye out for the mini ugly sweaters decorating the windows of local businesses – find them for a chance to win! Pick up a scavenger hunt form at any of the businesses where you find the mini sweaters – complete the form to enter to win!
11/17 | St. Johns Ugly Sweater Tree Lighting | Join us in the St. Johns Plaza for our annual Community Tree Lighting. Live music, free cookies and cocoa – it’s a can’t miss holiday event!
11/25 | Ugly Sweater Celebration and Shopping Event | Celebrate Small Business Saturday in St. Johns with specials from local businesses, wandering carolers, home business booths in the plaza, a visit from The Smalls mini horses and more. Make St. Johns your first stop to shop for the holidays!
12/9 | St. Johns Ugly Sweater Bar Crawl | Have a cheers in St. Johns with our annual holiday pub crawl! Don your best ugly sweater and join us for a toast, a scavenger hunt and tons of holiday fun. It starts at Leisure Public House 6 – 7pm; then The Fixin’ To 7 – 8pm; Slims 8 – 9pm; and the Park Tap House 9 – 11pm.
