Community Fair 5:30–7:30 pm, Wednesday, Aug. 20

Support the civic-minded Peace Lutheran Church at a Community Fair fundraiser to help replace an 80-year-old boiler. The fair is 5:30 to 7:30 pm, Tuesday, Aug. 20, at 2301 N. Rosa Parks.

During the fair the church will provide free school supplies and clothes for children and families and there are “lots of kids games” available, said church member Robyn Doll.

Peace Lutheran also regularly shares its facilities with other organizations including North Portland Little League, Girls Scout of America, AARP tax help volunteers and quilting groups.

The fair is co-sponsored by the Blessed Temple Community Center which shares the Peace Lutheran facility. There is more info at gofund.me/65283d38.
