On July 26, Oregon Health Authority issued a health advisory for Sauvie Island due to toxic algae—at Aarons Lake, Pete’s Slough, and Sturgeon Lake. Do not swim or play in these waters and keep pets away. Ingesting the water can cause serious illness. Check current advisories here: bit.ly/3Odm9ZV
